Advent - Day 21

Day 21 : Brett & Karen Williams

Scripture : 1 Timothy 1:15-17

DEVOTION

Start by reading 1 Timothy 1:15-17. I am struck by this verse because Jesus came into this world as an infant. Like this time in history, as we anticipate Christmas Day, imagine the anticipation as Mary and Joseph waited for their Son, the Savior of the world. We as dads, moms, aunts, uncles, and grandparents are so thankful for the gift of children. God’s gift is Jesus being born to save us from our rebellion against God. How great the gift of eternal life we have in Jesus Christ! Christ has shown His immense patience towards you. Let us make sure this Christmas season that we are grateful for His patience.

REFLECTION

Is there someone this Christmas season you need to extend immense patience towards? How has Jesus shown you patience in your life?

PRAYER

Jesus, thank You for showing patience to us that while we were blind in our sin You were patient with us, showing mercy even in our foolishness. Thank You for Your mercy and grace. Allow us to have patience with those around us that still don’t know You. Allow us
to show them love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

ACTIVITY
