HOMETOWN: Prairie Grove, Arkansas
I grew up in Arkansas where I met my best friend and her family. I recognized how they loved differently from anyone else I had ever met and I wanted what they had.
God softened my heart for Christ and I became a part of His family. God radically changed my life when my best friend’s family took me in as one of their own children and I have been with them for almost five years. God has revealed His beauty to me by healing my heart and placing loving community around me. Christ has continued to shape my passions by giving me opportunities to serve and share what He has done in my life.
HOW HAS YOUR PREVIOUS MINISTRY EXPERIENCES PREPARED YOU FOR THIS ROLE?
When I started Salt Company in the Fall of 2021, God continued to place faithful community in my life to grow and sanctify me. After I got back from Thailand last summer, my passions had changed and led me to yearn for God's glory to reign in my life entirely. I led a connection group and was entirely blown away with God's faithfulness throughout this year.
As you step into your staff position, what has you excited?
I am so excited to learn more about obedience to Christ! This year will be incredibly sanctifying and will bring me closer to God. Stepping on the team will bring community and friendship that will glorify Jesus.
